A trip

So. I'm going on a cruise on the week 29, and I'm thrilled about it. We're going to Stockholm and I'm about to do some shopping there yet again. I hope I'll find something nice to show.

First dress

This it is. The dress that got me started. Since i didn't find such a dress here in Finland i had to make it my self. We used couple Burda patterns which we found from our local clothshop, Eurokangas. We also bought all the materials (cloth, tulle, buttons, zipper, thread..) from that same shop.
This is the dress for my party (called Penkkarit,) and i insisted on getting dress like this, since i like having unique clothes. It took several hours and measurements to complete it.
We also made a underskirt -as you can see a bit of it there- from tulle.
It was a cold winter day, so i had to put a shirt under the dress. those slippers i put on my feet just because my feet was freezing at the time i returned from my trip.
Hat and the stethoscope were bought at a costume shop in Helsinki

The zipper is on the back, so it makes a small gap to the red belt. I'm 178cm tall and size M just to make sure.

Basically this blog is about my findings from flee-market or my & my moms handmade dresses, which we at a times make for me. Since I don't find often clothes i'd like, i've to make them myself, but at the moment i still need my moms help. I love flee-markets, they are my passion at the moment.
