Tigers of Bengal- is a dvd made probably somewhere in the early 2000's was an unpopular freebie that was sent to almost everybody as a free sample of some kind of a dvd collection about animals. There also was another freebie called "australian corals" or something like that.
The reason why i point this out is that i'm extremely annoyed about this dvd. It appears on every single fleamarket i visit. For some reason, people have started to be even more greedy and started to ask for money for a freebie. I have not watched this dvd but i do own it, and i also got it for free. I don't think anyone in this country is that poor that they really need all the money they can get, but still have enough money to pay the rent for the flea market table.
Obviously the culture of second hand selling has changed in here. When i was a child the quality of the stuff on flea markets was higher and the prices where actually quite low and it was a nice way to find something quite nice as the newest stuff for less money. It was also more profitable to sell old stuff forward, but these days people buy more virtual stuff (games on steam, songs on itunes etc..) and the old movies and games won't sell that much. Even though there still are people (like me) who like old games and retro, so some old things are still good to be sold.
But for the love of the God, the Tigers of Bengal-dvd isn't one of those good retro-items. It's a slap on the buyers face to sell stuff that used to be free only few years ago and it isn't that nice or rare or wanted item to be sold. If you really want to see tigers and bengal, use internet, watch tv, go to internet cafe, or rent it and save some money..
Is there some other weird items that you can see a lot at your local second hand-shops?
